LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 7,
2003) - Students who attend colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical
College System won national recognition recently by demonstrating their skills
in competition.
The students competed in late June at the national SkillsUSA-VICA event in Kansas
City. SkillsUSA is a national organization serving a quarter-million high school
and college students and professional members who are enrolled in technical,
skilled, and service occupations, including health occupations.
The following students from KCTCS colleges achieved top placements in the national
competition:
