Mission Statement/Status of Accreditation

Gateway Community and Technical College is committed to providing high quality, affordable, and accessible postsecondary education and training resulting in a positive contribution to the economic vitality of the region and enhanced quality of life for the citizens.

The college implements its mission through partnerships with school districts, colleges, and universities as part of a seamless system of education for the region. The college specifically provides the following:

  • Certificate, diploma, technical degree, associate degree, and transfer programs
  • Workforce training to meet the needs of existing and new business and industry
  • Remedial and continuing education
  • Short-term customized training for business and industry
  • Adult education
  • Support services for the enhancement of student success
